Details: This knife is made from D2 steel which is a high carbon and high chromium tool steel that is extremely tough and durable. The high chromium provides good corrosion resistance. The blade on this knife is guaranteed to retain its factory edge for extended periods of heavy use. When it does come time to re-sharpen, this high carbon tool steel will hone to a razor edge.
